What is IPAF and PASMA training?

IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) and PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association) training are programs designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to safely operate powered access equipment and work with mobile access towers, respectively.

Why should I consider IPAF and PASMA training?

IPAF and PASMA training are essential for anyone working with powered access equipment or mobile access towers. They ensure your safety and the safety of others, reduce the risk of accidents, and help you comply with industry regulations.

Who should attend these training programs?

Anyone who operates, supervises, or manages powered access equipment (IPAF) or mobile access towers (PASMA) should attend the respective training programs. This includes construction workers, maintenance personnel, and contractors.

What types of equipment are covered under IPAF training?

IPAF training covers a wide range of powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, cherry pickers, and more. The training teaches participants how to operate these machines safely and efficiently.

What does PASMA training involve?

PASMA training focuses on the safe assembly, use, and dismantling of mobile access towers, such as scaffold towers. Participants learn about tower components, stability, and proper working procedures.

Is the training centre accredited?

How long is the training program?

The duration of IPAF and PASMA training programs varies based on the type of course. Typically, IPAF courses range from one to two days, while PASMA courses are usually one day long.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, participants who successfully complete the training program will receive a certificate or licence card from IPAF or PASMA, demonstrating their competence in operating powered access equipment or working with mobile access towers.

Are there any prerequisites for the training?

For IPAF training, participants should have a basic understanding of operating powered equipment. PASMA training does not typically have specific prerequisites, but a basic level of fitness and an understanding of working at heights are beneficial.

Is there a validity period for the training certificate?
